The National Park Service invited We Players to create site specific performances on Alcatraz Island. The themes -
ACCESS. ISOLATION. JUSTICE. INCARCERATION. REDEMPTION.
As we humbly approach the site, build relationships with collaborators and unpack the layers of history, we are sharing our thoughts here. As always, We Players is dedicated to the expansion of the bounded stage and We invite all to participate in our co-creation of art and re-envisioning of society. Please join in the conversation!
